We woke up at 6am to make our apple and pumpkin pies (the early shift so the rest of our friends could sleep in a bit and cook later) and it had snowed overnight and transformed the fields and woods into this still, beautiful, snowy land. Very fun baking and eating while snugged away in PA in a wonderfully creaky old house with friends...
