we met in art school in 1997 and have been friends ever since. it took us six years to realize we might really appreciate and love each other.
we were both intense artists at the time, spent all the money we earned working to make sculptures and installations. in milwaukee, wisconsin. we shared a drive and a belief it was possible to have a career as artists. now sometimes we kick ourselves a bit for not pursuing original interests in science, philosophy, social and psychological studies... but it is part of who we are and we've each learned a lot.
our current passion to live and farm as sustainably as we can and to continue research, reading, writing and crafting - to live what we believe in - deepens our bond.
